Are you sitting creatively?

It’s official. We’ve fallen in love with a chair. Leslie Oschmann’s designs caught our eye whilst browsing the Anthropologie website and it was then that we decided to delve deeper into her wonderful menagerie of Dutch design.   

Swarm Home was born out of Oschmann’s love of transforming reclaimed objects into new, exciting talking points for the home. She’d pick up bits and bobs at flea markets and antique shops throughout Europe and turn them into beautiful works of art, juxtaposing linen and wood, silk and oil, stitching and canvas. 

As the former Visual Director for Anthropologie, her credentials are already pretty impressive but it was since moving back to Amsterdam (after years in The States) that her business really took off and her hobby became her career. 

Well, we’re glad to see she followed her heart on this one and will be saving our pennies to  have these chairs in attendance at the next Coastermatic dinner party.
